I saw this online today and thought some other children of the 80's might have interest.

It's the trailer for the remake of "The Karate Kid", with Jaden Smith (son of Will Smith) and Jackie Chan. I'd read they were remaking it and wondered "Why?" but I actually like the looks of this. It looks like they're taking the original as inspiration but changing the setting. I can live with that.



What I love about the original is that it was never about karate at all. It was about two people that needed each other without really knowing it. It had heart. And I actually think Jackie Chan, if given the chance, can show the same kind of heart that the late, great Pat Morita had.

I haven't done this lately but it's always fun when I do.

If you could pick any TV show that has been off the air to come back for one more season, which show would you pick and why?

hmmm....I think I would bring back Defying Gravity or Firefly, both were great shows that ended to soon.

Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, "Shady Esperanto and the Young Hearts". Probably the catchiest song I've heard this year. Fun video too...
